Chrome extension comparison

7 Chrome extensions for sales teams, compared (2026)

Apollo, Surfe, Lusha, Kaspr, Wiza, Cognism and LoneScale side by side: the pages each extension works on, what it reads and writes in your CRM, AI and signals, how it is delivered, and pricing. Based on public listings and documentation, November 2026.

A prospecting Chrome extension is the tool your reps use most, and the one that gets the least scrutiny. It sees every profile they open, it often holds a key to your CRM, and it runs inside the same browser session as the sites they prospect on.

This comparison looks at seven extensions sales teams install in 2026: Apollo, Surfe, Lusha, Kaspr, Wiza, Cognism and LoneScale. For each one we looked at the pages it activates on, what it can read and write in HubSpot and Salesforce, the AI and signal features in the panel, how the interface is delivered, and pricing, from the Chrome Web Store listing, the vendor's documentation and public pricing pages.

Two questions rarely appear in vendor comparisons and matter a lot to RevOps and IT: does the extension's interface ship in the package or load from the vendor's servers, and what does the extension need from your browser session to work? We note the answer wherever the vendor documents it. Versions and prices are the ones published at the time of writing; check the vendor pages before you buy.

1. LoneScale: your CRM, read and write, on every page you prospect from

LoneScale for Chrome opens a drawer on LinkedIn profiles and company pages, Sales Navigator leads, searches and lists, HubSpot contact and company records, Salesforce Contact, Account and Lead records, and on any website when you ask for it. It shows whether the person or the account is already in your CRM, lets the rep fix the record without leaving the page, and adds what LoneScale knows: account verdict, signals, and an AI brief built from the page on screen and the CRM history.

Key features and use cases

CRM on the page: contact, lead and company status for HubSpot and Salesforce, edit properties, change owner, link or create the company, copy the booking link, sync a new contact in one click.

Sales Navigator lists: select the rows you want, enrich their emails and phones through the enrichment waterfall, sync each one to the CRM, start job change tracking for the selection, get an AI brief per row.

Account verdict: on a company page or a website, one card says whether the account is a customer, in your CRM with its owner and deals, new and in target, or out of target, with one action per situation.

AI brief and copilot: a first-contact brief per person (hook, email and LinkedIn drafts, talking points, CRM history and deals) and a chat on the person or company context, streamed in the drawer.

Job change tracking by the rep: pick who to follow from the profile, confirm a job change you see on the page and let the Job changes rules of your CRM apply.

Trust by design: host permissions limited to LinkedIn, HubSpot, Salesforce and LoneScale; other websites only with an explicit opt-in; no remote code, no analytics SDK, no LinkedIn or CRM session data sent to LoneScale.

‍Pros and cons

Deepest CRM editing from the page of the seven: properties, owner, company link, associated people, booking link.

AI brief that crosses the page on screen, CRM history, deals and account signals, per person.

Free extension for every rep; credits are spent only when data is delivered (email, phone, sourced contact).

Minimal permissions, no remote code, nothing from your browser session leaves the browser.

No LinkedIn Recruiter, Gmail or Google Calendar panel yet.

‍Pricing

The extension is free. Install it, connect HubSpot or Salesforce, and the CRM status, record editing, account verdict and AI brief cost nothing, for every rep, with no per-seat fee. Credits are only spent when LoneScale delivers data: an email or phone found, contacts sourced on an account, a job change confirmed. You start with 100 free credits, no credit card, then Starter at $200 per month (2,000 credits), Growth at $1,000 per month (20,000 credits) or Enterprise on request.

2. Apollo.io: the all-in-one prospecting suite with the widest surface

Apollo's extension (version 17 at the time of writing) is a full prospecting suite in the browser. It works on LinkedIn profiles and search results, Sales Navigator and Recruiter, HubSpot and Salesforce records and list views, Gmail and Google Calendar, and on any website through "Apollo Everywhere". The panel is a Chrome side panel that follows your navigation.

Key features and use cases

Reveal and import: email and phone reveal, add to Apollo lists and sequences, create CRM records, log emails and tasks, call with the built-in dialer.

CRM toolbars: "Import to Apollo" and "Add to Sequence" buttons inside HubSpot and Salesforce list views, so bulk actions start from the CRM.

Signals and scoring: job changes, funding, news, job postings, intent, website visitors and technologies, with company, behavioral and AI scores.

AI: an assistant, AI-written emails and fields, generated personas.

Side panel: a Chrome side panel that follows your navigation, with a draggable launcher on the page and a window mode for other browsers.

‍Pros and cons

The widest coverage: LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Recruiter, CRM list views, Gmail, Calendar and any website.

Sequences, dialer and signals in the same panel, no second tool needed.

Free plan and a low entry price for small teams.

A full suite: more to configure and roll out than a focused LinkedIn-to-CRM extension.

Credits are per data type and per plan; model the real cost for an active outbound team.

No per-person brief built from your own CRM history in the panel.

‍Pricing

Free plan with limited credits. Basic from $49 per user per month billed annually ($59 monthly), Professional $79 ($99 monthly), Organization $119 ($149 monthly). Figures from third-party pricing reviews, November 2026.

3. Surfe: profile-to-CRM sync with list highlighting and contact updates

Surfe (version 3.17 at the time of writing) focuses on LinkedIn and Sales Navigator. It adds a card next to the profile, highlights people already in your CRM on every list it sees, exports Sales Navigator results to HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Copper or Google Sheets, and pushes contacts to Outreach, Salesloft, lemlist, Gong and HubSpot sequences. A Chrome side panel hosts tasks, notes, templates and "Contact updates".

Key features and use cases

Already in CRM: a batch lookup highlights known contacts on Sales Navigator results, lists, LinkedIn search results and "People you may know".

Export: "Export up to 25 contacts to your CRM in 1 click", as contacts or leads, with optional email and mobile enrichment and sequence enrolment.

Contact updates: a list of CRM contacts whose LinkedIn profile no longer matches the record, with granular update actions.

Messaging: intro message generation with a weekly quota, templates in the LinkedIn invitation modal, LinkedIn conversations synced to the CRM record.

Delivery: profile and company matching runs on Surfe's servers, so LinkedIn layout changes are handled without a store release.

‍Pros and cons

Best "already in CRM" highlighting of the group, on every LinkedIn list and not only Sales Navigator.

Contact updates turn the rep's navigation into CRM hygiene.

No panel on HubSpot or Salesforce records, only links back to the CRM.

LinkedIn and Sales Navigator only: no company websites, no CRM record pages.

Email and mobile credits are allocated per plan and per year; check the allowance against your volume.

‍Pricing

Free plan. Essential at $39 per seat per month billed annually ($49 monthly), Pro at $79 ($89 monthly). Figures from G2 and third-party pricing pages, November 2026.

4. Lusha: contact data in a remote panel, with Scout mode on any site

Lusha's extension (version 11 at the time of writing) works on LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Recruiter, Salesforce Classic and Lightning, HubSpot, and on any website in "Scout" mode once you grant the permission. The interface is hosted by Lusha and loads in an embedded panel, in a 320 px Chrome side panel or in the page, so updates ship without a store release.

Key features and use cases

Reveal: emails and phone numbers for the profile or the Sales Navigator list on screen, in bulk on search pages.

Scout: a company lookup from any website, enabled on demand through Chrome's optional permission prompt.

CRM: Salesforce and HubSpot records are recognised by URL or page title, with export to both.

Side panel: one panel per tab, with a floating badge on the page showing how many contacts were found.

‍Pros and cons

Fixes to LinkedIn layout changes ship server-side, without a store release.

Covers Recruiter and any website, which most lightweight tools do not.

Hosted interface: the panel needs a connection to Lusha to display.

No AI brief or account signals in the panel.

No job change tracking from the extension.

‍Pricing

Free plan with monthly credits. Starter around $49.90 per month (400 credits), Pro $69.90 (600 credits), Premium $399.90 (3,400 credits), about 25% less billed yearly. Figures from third-party pricing pages, November 2026; check Lusha's live page.

5. Kaspr: reveal and export, with lists processed server-side

Kaspr (version 2.0 at the time of writing) is a widget on LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and Recruiter pages, plus a popup. It reveals emails and phone numbers with separate credits per data type, saves leads to Kaspr lists, and exports to HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Brevo, lemlist, Zapier and Zoho. Lists, searches, group members and post commenters are handled on Kaspr's side from the page URL rather than in the browser.

Key features and use cases

Reveal: "Show phone", "Show emails", with thumbs up or down on each data point and a "Hidden (DNC)" badge for do-not-call numbers.

Automations: "Launch an automation" on a search, a group, a post or a Recruiter view; Kaspr builds the list on its side.

Engage: AI email drafts and sending from Kaspr.

Badge: the toolbar icon shows how many emails and phones are available before you open the widget.

‍Pros and cons

Cheapest way to reveal phones on LinkedIn for a small team, with generous onboarding credits.

List automations on searches, groups and post commenters, built on Kaspr's side without clicking through pages.

Clear data quality feedback, thumbs up or down on each data point.

LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and Recruiter only: no CRM record pages, no company websites.

Export-only CRM integrations: no "already in CRM" status on the page.

No AI brief, account signals or job change tracking.

‍Pricing

Free plan. Starter around $49 per user per month billed annually ($65 monthly), Business $79 ($99 monthly), Enterprise on request. Third-party figures, November 2026.

6. Wiza: the thinnest extension, a frame to Wiza's web app

Wiza's extension (version 0.3 at the time of writing) runs on www.linkedin.com and, optionally, on any site. It is the lightest of the group: a floating button, a Chrome side panel and an embedded view of Wiza's web app. The extension passes the tab URL to Wiza, which recognises a profile, a company or a search and returns the data.

Key features and use cases

Reveal and lists: emails and phones for the profile, Sales Navigator list exports resolved by Wiza's servers.

Wiza Anywhere: an optional permission to show the button on every site.

Side panel: one panel per tab or a global one, chosen from the web app.

CRM: exports happen from Wiza's web app, server to server; nothing CRM-related runs in the extension.

‍Pros and cons

Smallest footprint and the fewest permissions of the group.

Nothing from the page or the session is read by the extension itself.

Hosted panel: needs a connection to Wiza to display.

No CRM status on the page, no record editing.

No signals, no AI brief, no job change tracking.

Lists are exported from the web app rather than synced from the page.

‍Pricing

Free plan. Starter at $49 per month (100 emails and 100 phones), Email at $99 per month, Email + Phone at $199 per month, about 17% less billed annually. Overages at $0.15 per email and $0.35 per phone.

7. Cognism: verified mobiles and intent for enterprise teams

Cognism's Sales Intelligence Extension (Sales Companion, launched in 2025) runs on LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Recruiter, company websites, Salesforce, HubSpot and Outreach. Contact details are masked until you reveal them, one credit per contact, charged once per account. This section relies on Cognism's public documentation.

Key features and use cases

Company tab: overview, Research AI summary, intent (Bombora) and signals, top recommended contacts, Claim or Drop, CRM presence.

Employees tab: filters by persona, title, location and availability, export in batches of 25.

Data quality: Diamond-verified mobiles, "Verify" on demand, 15 do-not-call lists.

CRM and sales engagement: Salesforce lead or contact with account, HubSpot with field mappings and update rules, Outreach sequences, Salesloft cadences, Pipedrive, Dynamics, with inline edits before export.

‍Pros and cons

Phone-verified mobiles and do-not-call screening suited to compliance-heavy teams.

Intent and technographics in the panel, with persona filters.

Deep CRM and sales engagement export options.

Pricing on request: platform fee plus per-seat licence, so budgeting needs a sales conversation.

Extension details are documented at a high level; ask for a demo on your own CRM.

Data-first panel: no AI brief per person built from your own CRM history.

No panel-side CRM editing comparable to LoneScale or Surfe.

‍Pricing

On request. Third-party reviews describe a platform fee plus a per-seat licence, with the Chrome extension included from the Grow (Platinum) tier. Confirm with Cognism's sales team.

We compared the Chrome Web Store listings, public documentation and pricing pages of Apollo (17.1), Surfe (3.17), Lusha (11.0), Kaspr (2.0), Wiza (0.3) and Cognism with LoneScale for Chrome, as published in November 2026. No account was used to test data quality. Ratings come from G2, prices from the vendors' pages and third-party pricing reviews at the time of writing. Vendors ship updates often; if something has changed, tell us and we will correct it.

Three questions are worth asking any extension vendor before a rollout, including us. Which sites does the extension need access to, and does it run everywhere or only where it is useful? Does the interface ship in the package or load from the vendor's servers at runtime? What does it need from your browser session to work?

For LoneScale the answers are: LinkedIn, HubSpot, Salesforce and LoneScale only, with other websites on explicit opt-in; everything ships in the package; nothing from your session is sent to us.
